Here your will find examples of my commission work and the pet portraits that I have done for clients in the past. I hope this will show you the variety of work I can do, and perhaps, give you an idea for an original piece of art that you have been thinking about. Should you wish to have a wonderful keepsake of your pet or some other type of acrylic, pastel, colored pencil, or graphite painting created just for you, please feel free to contact me in order for us to discuss the possibilities. I can work from your reference photos which will, of course, be returned to you upon completion of the project. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have been commissioned to do many pieces that are western or rural scenes from photographs the client has actually taken. But, sometimes a client may have something just "in mind" - with no actual photos to create from. The first example below is representative of this. The second painting is an example of what can be done using multiple photos taken at different times and/or in different settings. Just inquire and see what we can work out!

This is an example of a pet portrait I recently completed of two adorable corgis.

This painting was done for a client after he purchased another of my wolf paintings. This, of course, is of wolf pups and has become one of my personal favorites and a welcome addition to my client's art collection.

This is a portrait I recently completed of "Butterscotch", a beloved family member of clients of mine. Although she has been gone for quite sometime now, her family tells me that she loved to lay in this favorite spot of hers. I hope she appears contented and very regal in this painting. My clients tell me I was able to capture the essence of her spirit in this portrait of their dear friend and companion.
