A Good Day's Work
I absolutely love watching border collies and other herding dogs as they work. The focus and commitment these dogs display as they carry out the duties they have been trained for is a true sight to behold, but their dedication goes well beyond the schooling they have received. The desire to work, to herd, to embrace their task is so much more. It is something that lies deep within each of them; something essential, something inherent. I believe it is indeed, the "magnificent obsession" that Walt Disney spoke about in the quote below.
I believe it is something we call all learn from.
