The first month of 2018 brought many new beginnings at Hughbanks Art. I had the opportunity to show for the first time at a wonderful new gallery, several new paintings have been completed and I have started some commission work that I am thrilled to be a part of. Not a bad way to spend the first wintery month of the new year.
Here is a peek at one pastel I have been working on. It is still on the easel, neither titled nor offered on the website yet. On any given day we have an abundance of wildlife visitors to our home and these little darlings are among the "regulars" around here. Of course, I photographed them several months ago, but they still visit now even though the ground is covered in snow.
My work will continue to hang at Wenaha Gallery through mid-February. Everyone there has done an incredible job of promoting my art both before and during the show. I certainly appreciate the hard work, dedication and professionalism they have shown.
I am looking forward to seeing what February holds in store. Hope your beginnings are happy ones, too!
