This piece was inspired by the familiar expression, “let the cat out of the bag.” When thinking about the expression I immediately pictured our dear cat, Lucky, laying half in and half out of a brown paper bag. Unfortunately he is gone now, so I used photos we have of him combined with a bag from my cupboard to come up with the composition for “Out of the Bag.” Hope you enjoy it.
