For years I have wanted to use this beautiful Native American basket in one of my paintings. Last month I decided to pair it with some yellow onions and the burlap type bag they used to come in. I then placed them all together on an antique desk we have in our home. After playing around for awhile, I decided on an interesting composition that tells a story of a somewhat simpler kind of life.
