Old dogs and favorite guitars can both become treasured friends and old companions to us as we travel through our days. The guitars I painted here are two of my husband’s favorites. I chose them because of their rich colors that I feel work so well together and within the entirety of the painting. I love the storytelling possibilities of this piece. After all, who doesn't love a dog that you have shared your life with and a vintage guitar (or two) that helped you create the soundtrack of your life.
