In this painting I wanted to explore an oriental theme by pairing beautiful florals and the birds I so often love to feature in my work. I decided to use a bowl we have had in our own home for many years as the vessel for the flowers and then use a loosely based oriental screen as a backdrop for everything.
This painting is framed (under glass) with a molding that compliments the piece perfectly, both in concept and final execution. The finished dimensions are 19"h x 22"w.
